Background : John Quinlan provides a first class guide service for Saltwater species such as  Bass, Pollack and Mullet.  Due to stringent fishing policies ( take note Westminster! ) Bass are prolific and have a good average size.  Fishing can be had all year but prime months are May through to September.  Another added bonus is the game fishing to be had on both lake and river.  Lough Currane is close by and has an enviable reputation for large Sea Trout.

Accommodation : This is provided through John and his wife Lynns beautiful "thatched cottage". Packages are based on full board and are extremely competitive.  John keeps costs down by providing an all in deal including guiding and he assures me that this evens means a couple of beers at the end of the day!  Typical Irish hospitality.
