Walter booked up 6 days fishing back in the Spring along with his good friend Richard Harvey.  Through the week we did a fair amount of Trout fishing although the weather did raise the river on a couple of occasions.  Walters dream was to catch a Sea Trout but with poor conditions prevailing it was looking unlikely.  Practicing Spey Casting each day, Walter was casting a lovely line by the end of the week.  Then the rain stopped, the river went down and the result on a perfect evening was this 2 1/2lb fresh Sea Trout, Walters first ever!  At 71 years of age Walter was over the moon and has booked up to return for a repeat performance in 2006.  We look forward to welcoming him once again!

Alvin Wilson was purchased a gift voucher and used it to further his fishing.  He started fly fishing back in 0ctober 2004 and after a little work on the casting progressed far enough to take a trip out boat fishing on Wimbleball.  Employing a variety of modern techniques he took several fish including this fantastic fin perfect Rainbow (right) which was carefully returned.
