Tuition options can help with all of the above and much more
besides. Short
Term Fly Fishing Tuition is available throughout the year
including weekends / week days and on a variety of
venues. A short fishing break is terrific value
considering that hourly tuition rates average from £20.00 to

Short Term Tuition
: Below
is a general outline of how a day can be structured
and has been based upon a one day taster course.
Tuition is relaxed and designed to be fun and
informative, we do not work to a strict time table !

9.30am |
Meet for Coffee / Tea and a chat regarding the day to
come. This helps to structure the day around our guest
requirements, not a school like curriculum ! |

10.00am |
On
the banks of one of our beautiful Somerset / North
Devon venues we take an informative look at modern day
fly fishing tackle and how to set it up ready for
fishing. Learn how to balance equipment. Basic safety
precautions. |

10am
to 1pm |
Casting, 'made easy' using our tried and tested
teaching methods. No in depth physics or long
drawn out explanations, we don't like to see our
guests yawning! Just plain and simple tuition to help
you learn as quickly as possible with the emphasis placed on having fun! |

1pm
to 2pm |
Forget
the stresses and strains of the office, time for lunch in one of our fine local inns or
better still out in the open Exmoor Countryside. |
|
2pm
to 5pm |
Fishing !!! Use your new found casting skills to
present your chosen fly to a hungry Trout. Plus
learn how to tie important knots and what to do if a
Trout takes. When your day is over enjoy a relaxed evening at one
of recommended hotels or guest houses.
