A month of
variable weather, but the fish didn't seem to mind! This
was an incredible May with 26 days spent out with guests and
the remaining few practicing for the England eliminator on
Wimbleball. I am pleased to say that I was successful
and will now compete for a place in the 2005 England Loch
style team on Bewl Water in Kent during the final in
September. Our new guide & instructor Pete Tyjas has
also been out with several people during May and I will be
introducing him to you all soon through his very own page on
the site. We can't fit you all in unfortunately but here are a
few of our guests with their May catches. Email

Jill
Rogers purchased a gift
voucher during Christmas 2003 for her Coarse
fishing nut husband, Paul. She decided to get in
on the act herself and the pair had a day full of fun
catching a couple of fish into the bargain. I
will never forget Paul frantically casting with fish rising
all around. I think we can safely say he is
hooked! |

Our courses are not
only aimed at Novice anglers. Intermediate and
Advanced anglers can also benefit from casting tuition
or a guided day. Dave Jones enjoyed improving his
cast on a 2 day course
including some successful boat fishing.. |

Richard Mc Laughlin
retired from London to enjoy the peace and quiet of
North Devon. Making a home for himself in a house
close to the well known beauty spot of Lynmouth he also
managed to acquire a fantastic stretch of fishing on the
Lyn. With no
experience he decided to give us a call after reading a
feature article on the business in a magazine.
Enjoying a trip earlier in the year he got his casting
going and then returned a few weeks later for his first
trip to the Lyn. With new equipment purchased
through Nick Hart Fly Fishing we set off in hope of christening
it. And that we did with several plump Wild Brown
Trout during a stunning sunny day. |
