May is a
prime month for fishing, the Wild Trout start to feed, the sun
begins to put in an appearance and we look forward to
Summer. Pete and I had a busy time clocking up 37 days,
once again living up to our reputation as the busiest fly

Henry Palmer Party

Henry
Palmer has visited us in the past along with 3
friends. This time he returned with his family to
celebrate his Dads 60th Birthday. Everyone managed
to catch a fish during a glorious May day, best catch of
the day went to young Tom, with a fish that weighed over
4lbs. |

15th
to 17th May 2005 Tony
Kaye, left, has visited
Nick Hart Fly Fishing in the past for casting
and fishing tuition. On this occasion our
attention turned to Rivers and during a lovely spell of
weather he managed this superbly conditioned Wild Brown
Trout. Accompanying Tony was Tim Watson, right,
who originally contacted me in 2004. He too
got in on the action landing this splendid Brown Trout
on a light rod, fine leader and small dry fly.
They are both returning in 2006. |

25th to
27th May
Hugh
Caslake booked up another 3 day
course after visiting in 2004. This time he
was with good mate Martin Baum who caught this Rainbow
from Exe Valley. Hugh managed a big Wild Brown,
along with several Grayling. He is visiting once
again in September 2005. |
