25 days out on the water this month, here are just a few of my
September guests with their catches.

Jackie
King ( front row, far left ) booked up a day out
fishing to celebrate birthdays in her family.
They were not disappointed and I think the smiles say
it all !
For
a great day out with a difference why not put together
a group and enjoy not only the Exmoor Countryside,
Wildlife and Hospitality, but learn how to cast a fly
at the same time.

September 2003
Mark
Ross has been using my guide services for around 3 years
now. The warm weather has taken it's toll on the
rivers so I decided to get him out on the saltwater
having enjoyed very successful sessions in the
past. This time we hired in the help of Sam Rush
and his Clovelly boat. It turned out to be a great
session with Mark landing a good few Bass and losing a
monster. I also got in on the action boating this
6 pounder, lovely. |

20 - 22nd
September 2003
Another
lady on the scene! Linda Simpson arrived from the
U.S.A. with her husband Barry and got straight into her
fishing landing a selection of fighting fit Trout from
Exe Valley. 2 further days were spent on the River
Barle and Bray with a couple of short sessions on the
Exe. To say Linda became hooked would be an understatement
with Barry and I often having to drag her
from the water at the end of the day. Great to see
such an enthusiastic novice angler and we look forward
to having her once again in 2004 when she will be
joining me for another 3 day course. Barry and
Linda found comfort, great food and exceptional
hospitality at the Porlock
